Omega Ensemble Master Series - Utzon Room at Sydney Opera House

Experiencing chamber music in the Utzon Room is like stepping back in time.

Dating back as far as the 17th century, chamber music has always been performed in smaller, more intimate settings, so performing in the Utzon Room at Sydney Opera House feels right at home for Omega Ensemble.

Omega Ensemble’s Master Series is well underway, don’t miss the chance to experience chamber music as it was meant to be, in the intimate setting of the Utzon Room - Sunday afternoon, with the warmth of the afternoon sun radiating through the windows, a magnificent view of Sydney harbour, the anticipating audience who feel more like a group of friends and the colourful Utzon tapestry completing the warm, cozy atmosphere, it really does feel that the concert has been put on just for you.

As well as performing a diverse range of well known and loved repertoire, Omega Ensemble’s programming includes works that have been lost to time and possibly never heard until beautifully delivered by Omega and their world class musicians. Their ability to find these pieces and bring them to life spells their deep love and passion not only for well-known chamber music, but for exploring gems that delight, entertain and enrich their audiences on every occasion.
