Support our second studio album with ABC Classic

We’re excited to announce our second studio album with ABC Classic, to be recorded in July and released in September 2019.

The new album features works by Philip Glass and Nico Muhly, including the world premiere work by Nico Muhly commissioned for Omega Ensemble and to be premiered at our American Masters concert on 2 July.

The album will also feature special guest collaborators Sally Whitwell (piano), Brett Brown (baritone), Gordon Hamilton (conductor), and Omega Ensemble Principal Violinist Alexandra Osborne, returning to Sydney from her position as Concertmaster with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC.

The album will be recorded at the Eugene Goosens Hall at the ABC Studios in Ultimo, Sydney over five days and featuring 19 of Sydney’s top chamber musicians.

You can help support this world premiere by making a tax-deductible donation towards the recording. Donations of $250 or more will be acknowledged in the CD Booklet released by ABC Classic, as well as acknowledged in our concert programmes and on our website.
